What do you need to do?
Stand and deliver – this is a 30 seconds sales pitch. We simply want to know your name, your company name and location, so we can all put names to faces also, if you can put it into one sentence, let us know why your company is different.
What do you need to bring?
Yourself, your colleagues, even your boss or your staff!
Other than your presence, you may wish to bring a name badge (we won’t be providing these).
Promo material – There will be an area for pull up banners to be displayed. There will be a table area which you can place flyers or leaflets you may wish to bring with you.
Plenty of business cards – make sure you collect everyone else’s too!
What else will happen?
A website is being created and you will receive details on this and how you can be included by email after the meeting.
What if you cannot attend the meeting?
You may send a colleague or staff member in your place.
If no one from your organisation is able to attend, you will certainly not be left out of any feedback or follow up information provided by either us or the council.
Are there any other costs?
Currently there are no annual membership fees, it is simply a pay per person per meeting price structure.
Meetings currently cost £15 and tickets are available and payable on Eventbrite. See Buy Tickets button on the right side.
We will be discussing various ideas with the group and if there is the requirement we will create a membership package to provide further benefits. This will be a work in progress and will be based on feedback we receive from the group.
When will the next meeting be?
We would like to put on a large meeting each month. Based on feedback we received form the group and the town, we may then look to put on other types of networking meetings, in the daytime and evening.
Can I park at UDC Offices?
Yes, the barrier for the main car park will be up. Anybody parked within the barriered area will need to vacate by 8:50am at the very latest.
What’s for breakfast?
Breakfast will be a buffet, there will be hot bacon baps as well as a variety of fruits, yogurts, muffins and pastries. Tea, coffee and juice is also included.
